Who It's For
Anyone who earns but hasn't figured out a system for what happens next.
You want a system, not just guilt.
Endowment or ULIP your uncle recommended. You've never run the numbers.
'Which fund' has paralysed you for two years.
You want one clear framework, not more content.
What We Cover
2 hours, activity-based. You work through Excel worksheets as we go, with Q&A woven throughout.
Your savings rate matters more than your returns for the first 10 years. Nandini shares her own story of how a high savings rate funded her move to entrepreneurship. Everyone writes down their real monthly investable surplus - the number the rest of the session builds on.
Emergency fund of 6-12 months in a liquid fund. Three-account system with auto-transfer on salary day so spending limits itself. Clear any debt above 10-12% before investing a single rupee - the maths always wins here.
Term and health insurance only. Live XIRR demo on a real endowment policy: ₹1.5L premium × 10 years, ₹25L maturity at year 20 = 4.89% return. Same money in PPF/EPF at 7.1%/8.25% grows far faster. Then the honest caveats - tax benefits are real, forced discipline has value, and surrendering an existing policy isn't automatically correct.
Five buckets and what each is actually for: equity, debt, gold, real estate, cash. Six equity funds is not diversification. Allocation decides the outcome; fund selection barely moves it.
Everyone commits to one action in writing before leaving. You walk out with a 3-tab IRR calculator sheet - Endowment, ULIP, and Term-vs-Invest - so you can run the numbers on your own policies that evening.
Endowment · ULIP · Term-vs-Invest. Run the numbers on your own policies that evening.
